Should someone already own an instrument, which has been rendered unplayable by damage or breakage but which is still of (emotional) value to the owner, it is possible to apply for a price offer for repair procedures. Depending on the glue types used, it is nearly always possible to, for example, replace the fingerboard or even entirely replace the neck of the guitar. It is also a possibility to replace the topboard or back, and to repair broken knobs.
The pictures below show a guitar before and after reparation. In this particular case, the neck of the guitar had been damaged, which had to be removed and replaced.
